Behavioral Research Associate
Job responsibilities for this position include the design and execution of behavioral and pharmacological experiments with mice, data preparation and analysis, occasional presentation of results, preparation of materials necessary for experimental studies, adherence to SOP's, purchasing of new laboratory equipment and supplies, validation of automated experimental equipment, calibration or modification of the equipment as needed, literature research using online databases, libraries and internet searches.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in the biological sciences preferably related to behavior, pharmacology and psychology. Experience with handling small animals (preferably mice) in a laboratory discipline. Organizational & multitasking skills required, team player, working experience with Microsoft Windows, Word & Excel. Industry experience strongly desired.

Additional Qualifications: May assist in the training of co-workers and new employees. Ability to quickly learn new software for experimental equipment. Ability to work both independently and under direct supervision.
