Schizophrenia & Mania – Amphetamine-induced hyperactivity
Acute administration of amphetamine-induced hyperactivity in rodents. This effect can be attenuated by typical antipsychotics such as haloperidol.
Pretreatment with haloperidol (0.1 and 0.3 mg/kg; i.p.) attenuates amphetamine-induced hyperactivity in C57/Bl6J mice.
Pretreatment with haloperidol (0.1 and 0.3 mg/kg; i.p.) attenuates amphetamine-induced hyperactivity in Sprague Dawley rats.
